Fallout 76 Tests World Pets
Fallout 76 pets are leaving the C.A.M.P. to follow players across Appalachia.
Bethesda Game Studios has opened a new public test for Fallout 76 focused on World Pets, a feature that will let players take their C.A.M.P. pets out into Appalachia.
The test server is called Pspsps-TS and is being used to check how pets behave while following players through different parts of the map. In this first phase, Bethesda is mainly focusing on navigation and movement issues.
For now, pets do not take part in combat, attack enemies, or take damage. Their current role is to accompany players while the team tests how well they move through indoor areas, outdoor locations, and more complex routes.
Steam players can join the test by installing Fallout 76 Public Test Server from their library. Bethesda has also said that World Pets will go through more testing before reaching the live game later this year.
With this feature, Fallout 76 continues to expand its gameplay systems and moves closer to giving players a proper way to explore Appalachia with their pets.
Bethesda has shared more details in its official post.
